Pictured with me: Jessicka (of Scarling and Jack Off Jill fame) and Mr. Gold, who brought his infamous madagascar hissing cockroach brooches as accessories for one of the model ‘challenges’ of the episode. Mr. Gold received ten minutes of air time on this phenomenal spin-off of the American franchise, which features gorgeous girls, incredibly hospitable hosts, and–as a form of my own demented entertainment–the opportunity for me to be extra “ornery” on-air!

Yes, I wore the soles off my 20-e Doc’s many an eve

in back-alley nightclubs where I was years away from years from
being ‘of age’ to attend in the first place

As for All Hallow’s Eve ‘proper,’ I gotta tell ya: generally speaking,

I was stoked to see so many Alice in Wonderland characters runnin’ around…

There were a slew of them both at the ‘Bitches Brew’ party, as well as a hearty smattering of Mad Hatters afterwards

when we hit the Brite Spot for some “fine” (enough) dining.

Seriously now: being a “Glad Hatter” myself–how could I not adore them? Despite accusations that I’m a ‘camera whore,’ (harumph!)

there aren’t many pictures of me from the evening. Nonetheless, I managed to snap one
of that dang adorable little Janine Jarman

& face-beater extraordinaire Noel Nichols within the first few minutes of our arrival; then cheers as other guests followed suit…

As for me, I danced to the phenomenal tuneage spun by D.J.s Marta & Jen,

workin’ my ‘Demented Barber, Circa ’99…1899, That Is’ accessories for all they—

& the accompanying attitude in which I came “dressed”—were worth

They’ve scored some outstanding talent in the past but McQueen?

& on a final rash note about fash: Did anybody rack up any great merch among the H & M/Comme Des Garcons collabo?

I wasn’t able to devote the entire morning of the 13th to waiting in line

in an attempt to score at least one piece of the instant collectibles.

(Different story altogether with the Viktor & Rolf launch from…hrmm… Two years ago, wasn’t it?)

However, thanks to my dear pal Pedro, I didn’t completely miss out on the goods that were gone in…what? Something like 17 minutes?

There’s some unfortunate ‘angles’ of me in this one (umm, yeah HI: Fatty McFatterson much?), but I’m determined to get the F over myself and showcase the details of Jared’s inimitable genius.

THANKS TO BUZZNET.COM for sending me on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, as well as THE GENIUS JARED GOLD for constructing one of the most mind-melding, intricately-constructed ensembles that’s ever graced my torso. Seriously: I cannot sing this visionary designer sufficient praise… (THEN AGAIN, I can’t carry a tune in the first place!)

It’s been a while, folks–currently in the process of transferring data from one computer to another, which is the how and why re: any “Archives” that might continue popping up along with new footage–so I can’t say for certain that Buzznet staff member “Vidiot” was responsible for editing the footage…though my guess is: yes, more than likely so.

Other credits? Wayne Ford, for “manning” the camera and ensuring this experience was exponentially more enjoyable than that of the [AHEM!] bastardized footage from ~*other*~ experiences I’ve had doing red carpet reportage. No need to expound on the negative, however: anyone incapable of comprehending the basic fact that a contest “win” is not synonymous with factual fabrication (guess I’m just an arrogant prick for being able to “own” my actual age…but by all mean, PLEASE! Change it without my consent so that I’m the one who looks like an insecure idiot) NOR is it an invitation to be humiliated.

Besides, this post has nada to do with a project that guaranteed its own downward trajectory from the first week.

Instead, please forgive my brash and highly-opinionated commentary to sum up *this* info with a MASSIVE THANKS TO JEN FROM BUZZNET…without whom I would have never had the chance to rock some serious insaniac couture at one of Hollywood’s most revered award ceremonies!
