Pauley Perrette Joins Twitter In Support of Hope Gardens ☀(TIME-SENSITIVE!)☀

A message from the lovely P ♥:
Last year I publicly came out strong against social networking sites.

I was being impersonated on them; I do not use them.

As of today, I am.

For a very good reason.
Hope Gardens is a beautiful compound for women and children that were on skid row.
34 Mothers, 71 children and
23 elderly women safely living in an
amazing place with trees and bicycles
and education and… Life.
I have been there. It is a haven.
It will be closed in 9 days,  putting its residents back on the streets, because of funding cuts.

We have to raise money.

A great man is matching every donation until the end of the month.
And I am hitting the Internet.
I am now on Twitter and have a YouTube video explaining why.
My friend Chad from church is doing it for me because I’m not a social networker.

If you can donate anything,
Or if you know how to tweet or “retweet,”

make it go viral or any of this crazy stuff
and send this message to others who can,

If you have any contact with the media,
Please help get the story out.
Every dollar counts.
Please share the following:

We can do this.
With all gratefulness and love and hope,

Sure thing, LEUTHOLD. Can’t help but be a bit curious, howevs: in what way is your comment “meaningful [and] fantastic,” [thereby] “add[ing] content and essence” to this archived post? Moreover, the “link in exchange” you not only want, but for some absurd reason consider yourself entitled? An empty profile on Rotten Tomatoes — a site which averages over two million unique viewers per month.

Said another way : Insofar as “too many takers out there” . . . did you mistake this blog as a confessional booth?

I understand that there are a lot of spam lately. Apparently it’s pretty difficult for guys to understand that relationships can be mutually beneficial. I can leave a meaningful fantastic comment and add content and essence to one of your articles and you will give me a link in exchange. There are too many takers out there and they aren’t willing to help people out. Take take take! .

I had to edit a little to get the most important info within the Digg character limit, but Here it is:

Let’s see if we can’t get it spread around far and wide.

I really am hoping and praying for these people, I liked the button on facebook 3 times, sent it to over 400 people. re tweeted, even though I practically never use twitter (best way to get the word out though), this cause is definitely worth it. I’ve been homeless before and lived in youth shelters, I’ve seen so much poverty, even in Australia, but this is one of the worst cases I’ve seen so far, So many lives could be ruined if this money is not raised. Pauley is an amazing person to step up and speak for the homeless community. I am hoping and praying for everyone. xo
