LENORA CLAIRE: featuring SUPERNOVA OF THE SMALL SCREEN, ANTOINE DES CAUNES ON "ALLEZ A L.A.," A PROGRAM VENTURING 'ROUND THIS CITY OF SMOG & STARDUST BY CANAL PLUS T.V...
(DESCRIPTION POSTED ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL): "European megawatt Antoine De Caunes explored this strange beast we know under the name of 'Los Angeles,' and stumbled upon 'Future Cult Icon' Lenora Claire in the process. Because any fashion choice I make should be considered The Law--yes, this is sarcasm, kiddies--I was brought in to transform Antoine into the hip party-goer he's always wanted to be...whether or not he knew it. After all, Lenora's birthday soirée was just an "intimate little gathering" of her thousand most fabulous friends at none other than the Houdini Mansion. In other words, jeans and a t-shirt? Just WOULDN'T have cut it. The hand-painted suit on Mr. De Coines is a one-of-a-kind creation by TonyMech of TonyMech[dot]com, while the black-belt beauty crew responsible for his phenomenal transformation via hair and make-up is none other than Stacey Hummell, Face-Beater Extraordinaire, as well as Irene Urias and Marc Mapile of Hairroin -- the virtual locale of which is HairroinSalon[dot]com. And on me? Need I even mention the shrunken top hat was made by Creepsuela Switchletto and my own *subtle* ensemble another couture creation by Mssr. Jared Gold? Or uh, you guys kind of...CATCHING ON by this point? (Envision Appropriate Emoticon) x o x o x C l i n t"

Double-dutch in elaborate couture?
(an outburst on 08 14 08 — while harassing that dang Audrey Kitching during our photo shoot for the new Lipstick Prophets catalog.)
In between shots–and struggling to keep the Malibu sand out of my eyes– you’ll see I got down to some
VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Gentlemen, don’t mess with me unless you can rock hardcore Viktor & Rolf, Jared Gold, Comme des Garcons, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood–and of course, hat sculptures by Philip Treacy and Stephen Jones.
While. You Navigate. The Muthrafeckin’ ropes.
After watching this clip, somehow I doubt I’ll need to “pull the crazy card” on ya… or?!
(interrobang, interrobang, interrobang)
Translated roughly?
BETCHES BETTER *BRING IT!*

Rather than start another blog only to scrap it out of frustration–I’m working on getting my new manuscript together, among other things–I thought it only apropos to share what life has been like for some of my ‘other’ personalities…

GOIN’ OFF: Clint’s First Vlog / Jared Gold’s Show Approaches
August 31, 2008 by Clint Catalyst · 23 Comments
O.K., one of the issues in my rant has been resolved…for today. What I think needs to be made clear to the general public?
I DO NOT ASPIRE TO BE A JOURNALIST “WHEN I GROW UP.”
Wanna know why I write in the first person? I don’t want to be objective. I want to be OBJECTIFIED. Whenever I hear attractive people complaining about that shit, I have to fight the urge to keep my eyes from rolling…
Want to know the other thing about media in this day and age? I don’t have to kiss an editor’s ass to say what I want to say.
Think I’m insignificant because I don’t have enough “views”?
Bitch, I’m just getting started. I’ve got loyal friends, and my eyes on the prize:
You ain’t along for the ride?
Happy trails to ya…

“To Push Away Or Clutch” — Spoken Word by Clint Catalyst
August 28, 2008 by Clint Catalyst · 24 Comments
ART FAG ALERT!
No, I don’t hit every line in the prose-poem verbatim.
Yes, I wrote it. It’s ancient history, actually…but I chose the piece as a ‘sampling of my wares’–so to speak–because it’s self-contained and just under the 10 minute mark.
BACKGROUND INFO: this monologue was filmed on the day that basically determined whether or not I’d have a sample of my art hanging in the Andy Warhol museum. By “hanging,” I mean via 50 inch flat-screen monitor and bitchen sound system with my monologue on endless repeat (entering the room on ‘Opening Night’ and hearing my far-from-soothing voice bouncing around the pristine white walls? SURREAL… and something I’m still processing.)
That Once-In-A-Lifetime pressure +
5 1/2 single-spaced pages of text?
I’m just glad I pulled it off…
And of course, exponentially more grateful to glenn kaino for including me as one of his “Uberstars” in the 8-year retrospective of his sculpture/photography in the reknown Andy Warhol museum in Pittsburgh!
Catalottalisp was “served, and proper” from May 3 – August 31st, 2008, thanks to Mr. kaino and the curators’ hospitality.
This clip would not exist without the camera skills of Nhat Nguyen and editing prowess of Diego Garza.

Jared Gold Reveals Halloween Costume to Clint Catalyst Pt 1
July 29, 2008 by Clint Catalyst · 4 Comments
There’s some unfortunate ‘angles’ of me in this one (umm, yeah HI: Fatty McFatterson much?), but I’m determined to get the F over myself and showcase the details of Jared’s inimitable genius.
*THIS IS THE LONGER OF THE TWO VIDEO CLIPS, BUT SHOULD BE DROOL-WORTHY FOR FASHION FIENDS WHO APPRECIATE ATTENTION TO INTRICATE DETAIL.*
What I requested? (Translation = “what [the customer] ordered?”)
Bloodthirsty barber, circa ’99…
1899, that is.
Not “Sweeny Todd” specific, as
a) I can’t sing,
b) Look like a dungheap compared to Johnny Depp (since most folks associate the Sweenster with J.D. due to the most recent ‘take’ on Mr. Todd),
and
c) Wouldn’t want to be confined to a barber shop.
I mean, REALLY.
I’m uber-fagatronic in this footage– but hey, just another trait I’ve gotta ‘own,’ maing.
Besides, what’s key here is the CLOTHING…and accoutrements. // DIG IT

THANKS TO BUZZNET.COM for sending me on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, as well as THE GENIUS JARED GOLD for constructing one of the most mind-melding, intricately-constructed ensembles that’s ever graced my torso. Seriously: I cannot sing this visionary designer sufficient praise… (THEN AGAIN, I can’t carry a tune in the first place!)
It’s been a while, folks–currently in the process of transferring data from one computer to another, which is the how and why re: any “Archives” that might continue popping up along with new footage–so I can’t say for certain that Buzznet staff member “Vidiot” was responsible for editing the footage…though my guess is: yes, more than likely so.
Other credits? Wayne Ford, for “manning” the camera and ensuring this experience was exponentially more enjoyable than that of the [AHEM!] bastardized footage from ~*other*~ experiences I’ve had doing red carpet reportage. No need to expound on the negative, however: anyone incapable of comprehending the basic fact that a contest “win” is not synonymous with factual fabrication (guess I’m just an arrogant prick for being able to “own” my actual age…but by all mean, PLEASE! Change it without my consent so that I’m the one who looks like an insecure idiot) NOR is it an invitation to be humiliated.
Besides, this post has nada to do with a project that guaranteed its own downward trajectory from the first week.
Instead, please forgive my brash and highly-opinionated commentary to sum up *this* info with a MASSIVE THANKS TO JEN FROM BUZZNET…without whom I would have never had the chance to rock some serious insaniac couture at one of Hollywood’s most revered award ceremonies!
For general site info, please log onto www.Buzznet.com;
My personal page is located at clintcatalyst.buzznet.com , and
Herr Gold may also be tracked down via jaredgold.buzznet.com.
*Whew!*
O.K., I think that just about covers everything!.
(My blood type is O positive; favorite type of underwear is…)
Ummmm, yeah. Cue ‘Edit’ as we enter TERRITORY ‘TMI!”
