Despite the fact I have five other posts saved in “Draft” mode,
I’m so amazed/amused/astounded by this clip
I have to share it with y’all here & now:

“Beauty Kit For Little Girls…

Don’t Wait for Mother Nature

∞    ∞    ∞

WHOA.
I’ve watched this clip at least 20 times now–
without pausing for even the briefest “mental re-write,”

Tell me:
What’s your initial reaction?

:: tell me everything ::

My first thought?

Opening line, Sylvia Plath’s  poem “The Munich Mannequins”:

“Perfection is terrible, it cannot have children.”

For a statement that brilliant?  I can forgive the comma splice.

Till I hear back from you guys, though?

I’m off to do a bit of research

in the meantime…

(I’ve managed to find this clip posted other places, but who’s the director/editor/artist responsible?)

    Initial reaction – sadness.

I found out that is was created by the digital arts group Pleix.

It’s definitely a brilliant production. I will have to look at some of their other work too.

The Only other film from them that I have watched so far was “E-Baby” and it made me feel sad too. I think it is time for me to go watch something cheerful now.
    Great blog post though. Always.
    xo
